FIA’s National Awards for Excellence in fundraising recognise the outstanding initiatives and innovative efforts of fundraisers in Australia. The Awards encourage the highest standard of professional practice and promote the role of fundraisers in making our society a better place to live and work.

In a period of 15 months, Annelies raised over $1.5 million in donations for the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII) with an expenditure ratio less than half of the six-year fundraising industry average. AustLII is a not-for-profit company that provides free-access to Australian law online, including legislation, treaties, cases and journals. As a State winner, Annelies is now in the running for the National Award in Australia.

Annelies completed the Master of Business Aministration: General International Management at Vlerick in 2005-2006.
